Some individuals are required by law to complete a boater safety course to operate on the water, but even if you aren't required its a good idea. To access the Arkansas Boater Education Course to get your required Boater Education Certificate, visit www.Boat-Ed.com/Arkansas to complete the exam (there will be a one-time fee). All riders must wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard-approved Personal Flotation Device. Before heading out on the water, make sure your machine is in proper operating order. Make sure you remember to replace the bilge plug or drain plug before going out. Know the weather conditions and waters you will be operating in! Know your vessel’s capacity and do not exceed it!
